Cast Concrete end table. This set was inspired by Paul Klee's painting Revolution of the Viaduct, and was intended as a 'proof of concept' for small concrete tables. stripping the forms early gave some nice 'aging effects' of spalling and deterioration at the corners. The tiered surfaces turn out to resist clutter very nicely.

Ok, not quite concrete, but terrazzo aggregate in castable clear epoxy and stainless steel hexes. Hexagons are fascinating shapes and these were made as inlays for a steel counter top, but the design headed in a different direction - now they live on the shelf. Turquoise glass beads on the left and 'sodalite' marble chips on the right.
